The SmartTrim system used on the S-pumps makes it easy to adjust the factory-set impeller clearance and thus to maintain maximum pump efficiency.
The Grundfos SmartSeal Auto-coupling gasket provides a completely leak-proof connection between the pump and the base unit of the auto-coupling system.
The shaft seal is capable of rotating in either direction. When the pumps are installed with separate pipework, sludge sedimentation can be avoided by back-flushing the system at regular intervals.
